Dr. Om Nalamasu, a world-renowned expert in Material Science and Semiconductor technology, has championed a renewed focus on Applied’s global innovation culture through various internal development programs and strategic partnership with universities, government organizations and research institutes around the world.

 

 

Mrs. Anamika Mishra is an illustrious scientist and an exceptional leader, who is currently serving as the Counselor (Science and Technology) at the Embassy of India in Washington, D.C. She played a crucial role in fast-tracking numerous high-value defense projects and was instrumental in streamlining procurement strategies across DRDO. Now, as India’s science and technology diplomat in Washington, D.C., she continues to drive forward India-U.S. partnerships in cutting-edge research and innovation, facilitating international S&T cooperation, developing research collaborations, and supporting official missions. Her vision, leadership, and expertise are shaping the future of Indo-U.S. scientific cooperation, including health cooperation.

 

Mr. Prabakar Sundarrajan is Chief Strategist and Co-founder of The Fabric. Prabakar has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur. Prabakar has over 25 years of leadership experience in the hi- tech industry where he has held a variety of executive positions spanning engineering, marketing, and business strategy at companies such as Intel, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM. Prabakar has served on the board of directors and/or technical advisory board of several companies and is a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). Prabakar holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and B.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Mr. Srivatsan Laxman is an AI researcher and entrepreneur who works at the intersection of product innovation, deep tech, and customer-led go-to-market. He received his MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering from IISc Bangalore in 2006. He spent eight years at Microsoft Research in the Machine Learning & Optimization group, where his work spanned statistical and noise-tolerant learning, NLP, ML for security, and data privacy. Most recently, he co-founded TrueLark, an AI customer communications platform used by some of the largest dental and wellness brands in the U.S.; TrueLark was acquired by Weave (NYSE: WEAV) in 2025.

 

Mr. Harsha Srivatsa is an AI Product Lead at NanoKernel and an IISc alumnus working at the intersection of AI agents, AIoT, responsible AI, and next-generation AI infrastructure. He has helped build and scale AI, data, and platform products across startups and global enterprises, including Apple, Accenture, Cognizant, Verizon, and AT&T, translating emerging technologies into practical systems with real business impact. An inventor, author, and AI thought leader, Harsha is known for bringing a product builder’s lens to where AI is headed next—from applications and agents to data centers and intelligent platforms. He also holds advanced academic credentials from Stanford and UIUC in addition to his Master’s degree from IISc.

 

Mr. Anuj Jain has vast experience leading successful, high performing engineering teams, innovating new technologies and applying them to real world business use cases. Anuj is an alumni of NSIT (formerly DIT) where he received his B.Tech in Computer Science. He obtained his Masters and PhD from University of Florida, Gainesville with his research focussed on high performance Algorithms for AI and large graph problems . Anuj has worked at Citrix Systems Inc. and at Adobe Systems, where he has spent time in developing real time systems for digital marketing solutions of Adobe, while applying AI to the modern digital marketing solutions.

 

Mr. Parth Patil is a Technical Advisor at Blitzscaling Ventures and an AI Advisor to Reid Hoffman. With over a decade in startups, he operates at the frontier of generative AI—across language, image, and video—focusing on agents and systems that write code, automate workflows, and extend human capability.

 

Dr. Sarat Addanki is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in IT and AI/ML sectors especially in software quality establishment. His passion and experience in Ayurvedic medicine and nutrition in combination with his technology skills has made him a visionary leader in advancing technology, health, education, and community empowerment.

 

Dr. Jagjit Nanda, Executive Director SLAC-Stanford Battery Center, SLAC Distinguished Scientist, Precourt Scholar, Stanford University & Co-Founder RINCELL, is an experienced senior R&D professional with demonstrated history and record of working both at industry, national laboratory and academic settings. Around 20 years’ experience and leadership working on energy storage materials and systems with emphasis on lithium-ion, solid-state batteries and grid scale energy storage.

Professor Ramesh has made seminal contributions to the science and technology of complex correlated oxides using epitaxy as a pathway to create model systems. His pioneering fundamental work on ferroelectrics eliminated the 30-year problem of polarization fatigue through control of the electrode-ferroelectric interface.  He is a member of: (i) the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Sciences; (ii)Foreign Member of the Royal Society of London; (iii) fellow of the American Physical Society, the American Association for the Advancement of Science (2005), Materials Research Society (2009); (iv) the American Academy for Arts and Sciences (2022); (v) the Indian National Academy of Sciences and the Indian National Academy of Engineering. Ramesh’s honors include the Humboldt Senior Scientist Prize, APS Adler Lectureship, MRS David Turnbull Prize, APS McGroddy New Materials Prize, TMS Bardeen Prize, IUPAP Magnetism Award and Néel Medal and the 2022 Europhysics Prize.

Professor Mohan Sangeneni, Emeritus Professor at IISc, is staying in California, USA since 2019 and is engaged in networking with Academic & Research institutions and industries in USA and connecting them with their counter parts in India for Research collaborations, Innovation & Skill development and Technology translation. He is now Advisor for Strategic Business at SiMa.ai, https://sima.ai/ and Advisor to IIT Hyderabad for Incubation, Innovation and Translational research. He is also a founder, and Member of BoD of Indian Scientific Innovation Company Ltd, IISc, Bangalore. He has been advising IISc Alumni Association of North America since its inception. He joined IISc in 1977 as a faculty member in Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics. He was Founder Chairman of Department of Instrumentation (1995-97), Chief Executive of Innovation Center (2001 to 2006), Founder Chairman of Alumni Cell (2006 to 2011) and Founder Chairman of Center of Excellence in Nano Electronics at Indian Institute of Science (2006 to 2011). He was instrumental in building the “First Academic Silicon fab in India “at IISc.

Professor Mutharasu Devarajan, Senior Technologist and Pathfinding lead at SanDisk Technologies, has over 27 years of combined academic and industrial research experience in advanced materials for electronic packaging. He leads the Materials Center of Excellence (MCoE) at SanDisk, focused on next generation packaging materials. He drives SanDisk’s electronic sustainability roadmap. He is prolific researcher with 300+ peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and over 20+ US patents published and filed. He also leads university research alliances across the U.S., India, and Malaysia on behalf of SanDisk, with active collaboration under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM – IDSPS) program.

 

Mr. Gopal Hegde, Senior Vice President, Engineering & Operations SiMa.ai has over 30+ years in engineering leadership in startups and incumbents including Marvell, Cavium, Cisco, Intel. Veteran of 5 startups and 4 successful exits. Proven track record of delivering products and generating $100M+ revenue.

Dr. Mallik Tatipamula is CTO at Ericsson, Silicon Valley, with a distinguished 35-year career spanning Nortel, Motorola, Cisco, Juniper, F5 Networks, and Ericsson. He has made fundamental contributions at the intersection of communications and networking, shaping the evolution of telecom networks from 2G to 5G and beyond. His work has driven four major architectural shifts: (1) integrating IP into mobile systems to enable the mobile Internet; (2) scaling the Internet backbone through IP-over-DWDM; (3) pioneering software-defined 5G for Industry 4.0; and (4) shaping the emerging global framework for 6G. Mallik has played a pivotal role in advancing collaboration across industry, academia, and government, aligning research, standards, policy, and funding roadmaps, and fostering international cooperation on 6G innovation and policy. He has co-authored two books, published over 100 papers and patents, and been elected to five national academies, including as a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS).

Ms. Sujata Tibrewala is the recipient of the 2025–26 Emerging Arts Professional Fellowship (Emerging SF). Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at the University of Illinois (Chicago), Lalit Kala Academy (New Delhi), Jawahar Kala Kendra (Jaipur), and most recently at the City of Milpitas and ARTogether (Oakland). In 2025, she was a guest lecturer at Santa Clara University, teaching on Indian art’s global influence, and led her signature Mandala Reinvented for Mental Wellbeing workshops at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, Triton Museum, and other venues.

Ms. Madhavi Nandella is a dedicated practitioner and teacher of traditional yoga, certified in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga from Mount Madonna Institute. Passionate about preserving and sharing authentic yogic sciences, she also serves as a long-time volunteer at Isha Foundation and a board member of Mount Madonna Institute. Her classes emphasize alignment, self-awareness, and a holistic approach—integrating asanas, pranayama, and meditation—to help practitioners build strength, balance, focus, and flexibility while feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Ms. Laleeta Gollamudi is the co-founder of Ayurway and Ojaska Labs, and a certified Ashtanga Yoga instructor (Yoga Bharathi) as well as trained Guided Imagery therapist (AGI). She is dedicated to integrating yoga and mind-body healing practices with conventional oncology care, including innovative applications using VR.

Passionate about holistic wellness, she focuses on making mind-body healing techniques and  yoga practices accessible to support overall well-being.

 

Ms. Priti Hansia is a researcher by profession and outdoor enthusiast by passion. She moved to Utah from California, with her husband Joy, 7 years ago to fulfill her desire to explore the beautiful Utah landscapes by hang gliding, paragliding, hiking, skiing, backpacking. They have a cute dog named Pakhi who keeps her parents busy with her ball and barks, and loves to go hiking with her mom.
